ArrowForge is an arrow-building and ballistics tool for bowhunters and archers — spine, FOC, speed, kinetic energy, drag-aware trajectory, and AI-assisted insight. This page answers the most common questions. If you don't find what you need, email us and a real person will reply.

1. Getting started
What does ArrowForge do?
Enter your bow, arrow, archer, and sight details, and ArrowForge instantly computes your build's dynamic spine consensus, FOC, GPP, total weight, estimated speed, kinetic energy, momentum, drag-aware trajectory, sight pins, and lethal range by game class — with each number explained in plain English.
Do I need an account?
No. The core app works fully on-device with no account. An optional free account adds cloud backup so your builds restore if you switch or lose your phone. ArrowForge Pro (a subscription) unlocks the AI features and the formula + step-by-step calculation behind every number.
Does it work offline?
Yes — all ballistics calculations run on your device and work without a connection. Only AI features, location/elevation lookup, and cloud sync require the internet.
2. Accuracy & safety
How accurate are the numbers?
ArrowForge uses a drag-aware point-mass trajectory model and broadhead drag calibrated to published downrange chronograph data. The estimates are designed to be a strong, physics-grounded starting point — but they are estimates. Real-world results vary with your specific equipment, form, weather, and tuning.
ArrowForge is an informed second opinion — not a substitute for proper tuning or professional advice. It is built to sanity-check your setup, and it defers to your bow technician on spine, draw length, and equipment safety. Always verify your build on the range and with a qualified pro before you hunt. Archery equipment is inherently dangerous; use appropriate care and supervision.
The estimated speed doesn't match my chronograph.
Enter your measured speed in Live Settings — ArrowForge will use your real chronograph number instead of the estimate everywhere downstream. The estimate is only a fallback for when you haven't chronographed the build yet.
A number looks wrong / I found a bug.

3. ArrowForge Pro & subscriptions
What does Pro include?
ArrowForge Pro unlocks the AI assistants — bow & arrow spec lookup, the AI Arrow Recommender, Sanity Check, Build Plan, and tuning insights — plus the exact formula and your step-by-step calculation behind every number on every tile.
What does it cost?
ArrowForge Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: $6.99/month or $39.99/year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
How do I manage or cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not in the app. On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → ArrowForge, then change or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. You can also tap Profile → Manage subscription in the app, which opens the same Apple screen.
I subscribed but Pro isn't showing / I got a new phone.
Tap Profile → Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with. That re-checks your subscription and re-unlocks Pro. If it still doesn't appear, email us.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you believe something went wrong on our end, email us and we'll do our best to help.
I have a promo / beta code.
Enter it under Profile → Subscription → "Have a code?" (you'll need to be signed in). Pro unlocks immediately once a valid code is redeemed.
4. Account & sign-in
How do I create an account or sign in?
Tap Profile → Sign in / Create account. You can use Sign in with Apple (fastest, no password) or an email and password.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, enter your email and tap Forgot password. We'll email a reset link — open it on your iPhone and it returns you to the app to set a new password. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check spam.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@frontierforgellc.com with the subject "Delete my account" from (or naming) the email on your account. We permanently delete your account and all server-side data within 30 days and confirm by reply. To also clear data stored on your device, delete the app.
